According to the Tufts Policy on Rights and Responsibilities with Respect to Intellectual Property, students generally own the copyright to academic work they produce.  However, if you included content created by others within your thesis, such as graph, figures, or images, you may need to obtain permission from the rights holders of those materials before publishing.  Read more thesis & dissertation writer considerations.
